It's 528, our favorite day of the year!

Happy 528!!

First off, I have to say happy birthday to the wonderful woman who inspired Apartment 528, my awesome mother whose birthday is today. She's a strong, creative, supernaturally talented woman whose faith and family come before all else. One day I'll be just like her!  She hates that every time I write about her I use this old picture from when I was in kindergarten, but this is my favorite picture of us. Not to mention, she LITERALLY looks the exact same now as she does in this picture, minus the blue eye shadow and pink lipstick. She's got a serious Dorian Gray thing going on!

To celebrate 5/28, we're doing a giveaway. The lucky winner will get a $28 Apartment 528 gift certificate to spend on all kinds of handmade and vintage goodies.
