Thrifty Thursday: RSS

After years of using craigslist for everything from finding roommates to buying a couch, I just realized last night that CraigsList has RSS. It's my new favorite toy! Type your search in to the search box, click the RSS button on the bottom of the page, and you'll be updated every time a new post comes up that matches your search.

I used the RSS to find vintage radios to add to our ever growing collection. Now, I don't have to keep checking back in to craigslist, I can just look at my RSS.

To show my affection for this amazing tool, I've added a new feature to the Apt. 528 sidebar. Under "Item of the Week" you can find "Found on Craigslist" where I'll post random search feeds. I might change it up daily, weekly, or just whenever I remember....we'll see!
